We use a sliding scale fee program, where individual fees are determined based on their ability to pay, as determined by their individual and household incomes. This program promotes equitable access to healthcare by allowing those in our community who are able to pay full fees to support the service in providing low-cost treatment to those experiencing financial challenges who may otherwise be unable to access mental health care. Our standard session fee is $250, and a Medicare rebate of $136.35 may be available, leaving a gap of $118.65 per session. We also offer sliding scale reductions of 25% to 55% (bulk bill equivalency) for students, part-time and casual employees, or unemployed individuals facing financial hardship.

While you're welcome to pay privately or discuss the possibility of third-party payers for your treatment, to access the rebate of $131.65, you'll need a mental health care plan. You can get a mental health care plan by booking an appointment with your General Practitioner. It's a good idea to let the GP practice admin know when booking that you would like a MHCP, as they often require extended appointments.

If your extras cover includes mental health, you may be eligible for full or partial rebates from your private healthcare provider. However, you will need to check with them prior. If you are eligible, we will ask you to pay privately and contact your provider to issue the rebate.

Please note that last-minute cancellations can result in significant loss to small healthcare businesses. Therefore, in instances where one-business day's notice is not provided, we will need to charge a cancellation fee of 50%. Additionally, it's important to note that we are not able to bill Medicare for unattended appointments
